The Big Flower Look

Every where I look, I see pretty woman, or pretty little girls with these big beautiful flower clips in their hair. Everyone is doing the flower clip hair style, and I am included. I went and bought several, several different clips, headbands, hair ties that had a big flower on them. "I love them my girls love them, but we are losers and by losers I mean we all lose things, hair accessories we lose a lot of." So, we decided that it could not be that hard to make our own big flowered hair accessories. "It was not hard at all, and it is so very cheap, and most people can not tell that they are homemade!" Not to mention the fact that it is a wonderful,easy, and fun craft time with your girls idea. Just to see how creative, and really into something my girls were was absolutely heart warming. Now we do it at least once a month, keeping up our supply of hair accessories. Some popcorn, and juice, and our glue gun in hand, PARTY!

Most of the parts necessary to create your own big flower hair accessories can be bought just about anywhere, Joann Fabric, Walmart, and the Dollar Store. At places like Joann Fabric, a lot of these items are cheap per bagful. Look for great deals as always, and for different ideas, looks, and sizes. See something you like that would make a great hair piece, get it. I have actually made hair clips using a big flower, and in the center of the flowered added charms, or a charm.(remember you have to be able to wear) My oldest daughter is into twilight right now so I made a big flower clip, with a team Jacob Button.

You will need

• on bag of one or some of all, french barrette hair clips, headbands, thick pony tail holders
• crafty flowers,or get some from your flower craft section in your store,beads, ribbon, pretty much whatever you like
• a glue gun, and glue sticks
• a couple girly girls if you have them
• popcorn
