Natural Recipes To Healing Diaper Rash

In my experience in using natural ingredients to cure aliments or in some cases wounds the natural way tends to be safer and more effective. In some instants like with my babies diaper rash break outs the natural remedies work faster and have worked with proven results. Here are a few natural ingredient remedies for you to try the next time your baby is discomforted by diaper rash.

Olive Oil

You Will Need

1 tablespoon of olive oil

5 tablespoons of water

Mix both ingredients together until a smooth texture develops, apply to babies clean and dry bottom. * Olive oil is an ingredient used for centuries for all types of ailments.

Essential Oils

You Will Need

1 to 2 tbs of a essential oil

3 to 4 tbs olive oil

Mix essential oil with olive oil and apply to a clean dry baby bottom. *There are several different essential oils that can be used here form lavender to sandalwood, chamomile or calendula. Tree tea oil is what I prefer and has proven to work a bit better and faster. Essential oils alone should not be used they properties are to strong for thin soft baby skin. * Tree tea oil has also been proven to be affective in treating yeast type infections, aliments requiring an anti- inflammatory and promotes the healing of wounds.

Cod Liver Oil Capsules

Another very natural and healthy treatment for diaper rash. Open the capsule and pour over infected area.

In all recipes above allow your babies bottom some air dry time. Besides the natural oils the second best diaper rash cure in my experience is air drying. As always if you feel uncomfortable with any natural ingredient cure check with your doctor first!
