Jenny McCarthy

Jenny McCarthy is an American adult model, comedian, actress, and author. Her career began as a playboy model, and then she went straight into television and film to begin her acting career. Although through out her childhood she referred to her self as an outcast she was well liked, and thought to be very very funny. She attended college to be a nurse, where at which time she submitted her photo to the playboy magazine as a way to pay for her schooling. In turn led her to becoming playmate of the year in 1993, all the publicity she received for this led her to L.A., where she hosted Hot Rocks a playboy TV show, and then on to Singled Out . McCarthy is very well known for her crude, and sometimes disgusting humor and this humor has landed her roles in many T.V. series like The Drew Carey Show, Charmed, and Two and a Half Men. She has also starred in movies including, Scream 3, Scary Movie 3, and Dirty love. Jenny McCarthy is a very talented woman, beautiful, and funny, with brains to boot.

McCarthy now is known for her activism and controversy surrounding the horrible, saddening disorder Autism. In may of 2007 Jenny told the world that her son had been diagnosed with autism, his disorder began with terrifying seizures, and were treated and has shown signs of improvement. Now she participates in fundraisers, online chats, and other activities for non-profit organizations to help those families affected by this heartening disorder. Controversy surrounds McCarthy and her stand on this issue, where she has claimed that her sons vaccination caused his Autism, also believes the mercury in some of the childhood vaccinations do cause Autism. She has gone live on television with this statement and has caused many parents to be concerned, which has led to decreases immunization rates, and an increase in diseases such as measles and whooping cough. However, McCarthy's public presence on autism has led her to being awarded the James Randi educational Foundation's Pigasus Award.( this is an award granted by Randi for contributing to pseudoscientific ideas)

Jenny is also a spokesperson for Weight Watcher's, the diet plan that her get back her playboy body after the birth of her son, and a published author. A few of her books are Jen-X Jenny McCarthy's Open Book, an autobiography, Belly Laughs: The Naked Truth about the First Years of Mommy-hood, and Louder than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism . All of which are very good books, and most with the McCarthy humor!
